24 STEPS

1. This tutorial shows full-access administrators how to add useful links to an account that are visible to officials from the Home page of the Officials Portal.

For this example we will use the Ref Insight Demo Account to add a useful link.

2. To start, click the arrow next to Settings to expand the dropdown.

3. Click Useful Links

4. On the Useful Links page, click Add Link.

5. A pop-up window opens where information about the link is entered.

We will now fill in the form using the Ref Insight website as our example.

6. Choose a name for the link and type it inside the Link Name field.

Next, click inside the URL field.

7. Type in the URL of the link. Use the full URL.

8. Enter a Description of the link if you like.

9. Enable the link by moving the Enabled toggle to the right.

10. To display this link on the Home page of the Officials Portal, move the Display Officials toggle to the right.

11. To make this link visible to regular-access admins, like assignors, move the Display Admin toggle to the right.

12. Click Create when finished.

13. The link and its settings now display in the list.

14. To edit or delete the link, click the pencil icon next to the entry.

15. For this example, we will edit the Description. Click inside the Description field.

16. Make the relevant edits. You can also change the toggle settings to disable the link or not display it to the officials or admins.

17. Click Apply Changes when finished.

18. To delete the entry, click the pencil icon.

19. Click Delete.

20. Confirm the Delete action. The entry will be deleted from the list.

21. Now, let's explore what the Official sees when a Useful Link is added.

We are on the Home page in the Officials portal, where we will access the link that was added from the Admin portal.

22. A list of accounts relevant to the official is shown. They will click the magnifying glass next to the relevant account to see more information.

23. Under the Useful links section, clicking the magnifying glass next to the link will use the URL previously entered in the Admin portal to bring them to that page.

24. A new tab opens using the URL entered in the Useful Links area.

Repeat steps 2 through 12 to add more links to your account.
