Move Matches from one Schedule to another

26 STEPS

1. This tutorial shows how to move matches from one schedule to another schedule. Matches can be moved between schedules either within the same Competition or to a different Competition.

2. For this example, we will move matches from one schedule to another schedule within the Demo Competition.

3. To start, click the arrow next to Settings to expand the dropdown.

4. Click Match Mover

5. The matches will be selected from the Source Schedule and moved to the Target Schedule.

6. Click inside the Competition cell to expand the dropdown list of Competitions available.

7. We will select our example Demo Competition as the Source Competition.

8. We will select Demo Schedule 1 as our source schedule. The Matches from this Source Schedule will display in the section below.

9. To select specific matches from the source schedule, manually select them or use the interactive menu to set filters.

For this example, we will select matches from the U13 and U14 age groups to move to the Target Schedule.

Click Actions then Filter.

10. Click Column to expand the dropdown.

11. Click Age Group.

12. Click Operator and click in. The in operator is the same as an "or" operator and will allow multiple selections to be included in the filter.

13. Click the down arrow under Expression to expand the dropdown.

14. Click the selections one after the other. Commas will automatically be inserted between selections.

Recall that for this example, we are including matches from the U13 and U14 age groups. Select each of these items.

15. Note the filter is displayed at the top of the report.

16. Now that the matches are filtered, we will choose the Target Schedule. Click Competition under the Target Schedule to choose the Competition.

17. Since we're keeping these matches within the same Competition for this example, click Demo Competition.

18. Click Demo Schedule 2 -- this is the target schedule the matches will be moved to.

19. You can select the matches individually by checking the box under the Selector column, or turn on the Select All toggle to select all the matches displayed.

Display all rows on the page by clicking Actions/Format/Rows per Page and selecting All.

20. Click Move Selected Matches

21. A banner will display at the top right of the page confirming the selected matches have been moved to the Target Schedule.

22. To see these matches in the Target Schedule, go into the Competition.

23. Click the magnifying glass next to Demo Schedule 2, which was our Target Schedule in the previous step.

24. Under Resources, scroll down to the Matches section or click on Matches to focus on that section.

25. Note the U13 and U14 matches are now in this Target Schedule.
