Using the Public URL to view Matches within Competitions

Share a Public URL with stakeholders outside the RefInsight platform, such as League or Competition administrators, parents, or officials.

1. This tutorial demonstrates the Public URL feature for Competitions. This URL can be shared with anyone outside the RefInsight platform who has an interest in seeing the matches within your Competitions.

2. To access the Public URL, click Competitions

3. Click the Public URL hyperlink.

4. A new tab will open that displays all the matches within the Competition.

Common filters are available in the top section. An interactive menu is also available to assist in various searches.

5. One filter is Schedule.

6. Click all schedules to expand the dropdown. Choose a specific schedule to display only those matches.

7. Click on a month to filter by month.

Step 7 image

8. Matches for that month will display.

9. To select specific Start and End Dates, first set the month filter to All.

10. Click Select Start Date.

11. Choose a Start Date from the calendar.

12. Click End Date

13. Choose an End Date from the calendar.

14. To remove the start and end date filters, delete them from these areas.

15. Any column can be filtered for one item by clicking on it.

One example is Home Team.

16. Choose a team to see the schedule for that team's home games.

17. Click Remove Filter when finished.

18. Site is another option to see what matches are being played at a particular site.

19. Click the Site of interest.

20. Click Remove Filter when finished.

21. Filters can be combined in various ways to display the matches of interest.

To filter for multiple items, use the filter item in the Actions dropdown.

25. Choose the column of interest. In this example, we will choose Site.

26. Click Operator. The default is "equals".

27. In this example, we will choose two sites from the list. Normally, this operator would be called "or". However, in the RefInsight platform structure, it is called "in". Click in.

28. Click the down arrow in Expression to display all the sites that are listed in this report.

29. In this example we will choose Michigan Stars Sports Center as the first site of interest.

30. We will also choose UWM Sports Complex - Pontiac as a site of interest.

31. Click Apply.

32. This filter is now displayed at the top of the report and only matches at these two sites are displayed.

33. You can also download and print a report to use off-line. To download this report, click Actions.

35. You can choose to download it as a CSV, HTML, Excel, or PDF document.
