1. Welcome to the Referee Ratings tutorial series. This is the first tutorial of a 4-part series to review the Referee Ratings feature. This tutorial covers enabling ratings for Match Roles and setting up the Ratings Scale for your account.

2. Enabling ratings for specific Match Roles and the Ratings Scale are set at the account level. This task must be completed by a full-access administrator.
To start, click the arrow next to Settings to expand the dropdown.

3. Click Match Roles

4. For this tutorial, we will focus on three match roles: Referee, AR1, and AR2.
Click the edit icon to enable the Referee rating.

5. Move the Enable Referee Rating toggle to the right to enable it.

6. Click Apply Changes

7. Repeat these steps for each match role you want to enable.

8. Our three match roles now have Referee Ratings enabled.

9. Now we'll set the Ratings Scale for the account.
Click Ratings.

10. Click Rating Scale

11. A sample Ratings Scale is shown here. When creating your scale, think about the different levels of Competitions and Schedules in your account. Ratings can be based on whatever you choose, such as age groups, gender, level, and other factors.

12. To add or change ratings, click Edit and fill in the Rating and Name. Add a Description if you like.
The Rating and Name will display when selecting ratings within Schedules for each match role.

13. If you need to change an entry, click Edit, then make your adjustments. Or you can simply double-click inside the cell.

14. For this example, we changed the Name and Description for the last row of the grid.

15. To add more rows, click Add Row.

16. Add the new Rating by typing it inside the cell.

17. The new row has now been added.

18. To delete a row, right-click the lines and select Delete Row.

19. Click Save when finished.

20. We have now enabled Referee Ratings for selected Match Roles and set up our Ratings Scale. This concludes part 1 of the series.
