1. This tutorial shows how the Ref Coordinator report can be used at tournaments to facilitate the referee check-in process.
2. Click the arrow next to Assignor Workflow to expand the item.
3. Click the arrow next to Reports to expand the item.
4. Click Ref Coordinator
5. For this example, we clicked on the Competition column heading and selected Canton Cup to add this filter.
6. To filter for specific dates, click Actions, then Filter.
7. Click Operator to expand the dropdown.
8. Click between so we can choose matches that occur between two dates.
9. Click the calendar icon next to the first box to set the starting date.
10. Use the arrows to change the month.
11. For this example, we want to only display matches for the Canton Cup between May 24 and May 26. Click on May 24 for the starting date in our filter.
12. Click the calendar icon next to the second box to set the ending date.
13. Click on May 26 for the ending date in our filter.
14. Click Apply.
15. For tournaments with multiple locations or sites, setting a Control Break for Location will group matches by site.
To set a Control Break, click Actions.
16. Click Format, then Control Break.
17. Click the dropdown in the first row to select the Column to be used for the Control Break.
18. For this example, we are setting the Control Break on Location.
19. Click Apply.
20. The matches at each Location now display under each site name.
21. To provide a tailored report to a Ref Coordinator at each site, turn off the Control Break by unchecking the box to the left of the Location item and filter for each location from the column heading instead.
22. Click on the column heading Location, then search for and select a site. For this example, we will select Griffin Park - Canton, Canton, Michigan.
23. The name and phone number of each official assigned to the match is displayed under each match role. The information has been masked for this demonstration. Use Actions/Columns to hide unused match role columns.
24. To download and/or email a report to a Ref Coordinator, click Actions.
25. Click Download
26. Choose the report format. For this example, we will use Excel.
27. To send this report as an email attachment, move the Send as Email toggle to the right.
28. Enter the person's email address, adjust the Subject line, and enter a message in the Body of the email.
29. Click Send when all information has been entered.
